The Dowd backyard renovation was a major transformation that turned a heavily wooded, sloped area into a functional and beautiful outdoor living space.
To start, we cleared the entire lot and exported approximately 600 tons of excess soil to level the backyard and maximize usable space. With the new layout in place, we installed a variety of hardscape and landscape features, including:
- A paver patio and concrete parking pad
- New sidewalks for improved access
- A Bocce Ball court for recreational fun
- Strategically planted oak and cypress trees on the rear slope
- Full yard and slope mulching for erosion control
- A comprehensive storm drainage system, including tied-in gutter drains
- Brand-new fencing for the furry friends to stay in
This project not only improved functionality and aesthetics, but also addressed long-term drainage and erosion concerns—giving the homeowners a clean, organized, and low-maintenance space to enjoy.
